Our team of professionals understands that your pets are important members of your family. We treat your pets as if they were our own.

We provide complete medical and surgical care for small animals, including the following:

Wellness Examinations and Immunizations - We recommend that your pet gets a complete physical at least once or twice a year. Our staff will help you decide which preventative measures are necessary for your pet.

Surgical Procedures - Our facility is equipped to perform many surgical procedures, from spays and neuters to orthopedic procedures. We take pride in our equipment, modern anesthesia, and patient monitoring systems.

Dental Care - We feel it is important that clients understand the impact dental care has on the overall health of their pets. Regular ultrasonic teeth cleaning provides your pet with good oral health.

Radiology - Our x-ray machine allows us to produce excellent radiographs, which are helpful in the diagnosis of medical and surgical problems.

In-house Laboratory and Diagnostic Testing - Our laboratory provides fast and accurate information, which is essential for the well-being of your pet.

Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation - Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation (VOM) is a form of spinal adjustment carried out with a hand held instrument called an activator. VOM can locate inflammation in the spinal column through feedback reflexes making it diagnostic as well as therapeutic. VOM is carried out on a weekly schedule, increasing time between adjustments each time. Many times we see improvement after only one adjustment. However, it may take up to three adjustments to see improvement, if we are going to see improvement. We therefore recommend doing three adjustments and then assessing whether or not to continue.VOM can be an option to treat arthritis, back pain, intervertebral disc disease, neurologic conditions, lameness, and more! To learn more about VOM, you can go to www.vomtech.com, schedule a consultation with Dr. Cochran or Dr. Starr, or ask our staff for a handout on VOM.

Cold Laser Therapy - Cold laser therapy is medication free therapy that is being used to treat a myriad of conditions in veterinary and human medicine. Theoretically, it works by activating photosensitive molecules in cell’s mitochondria to increase energy output. This increase in energy output allows the cell to perform whatever the cell does better. Although much of the research for many conditions is ongoing, it is well documented to aid in wound healing through increasing cell proliferation and in decreasing pain and inflammation for musculoskeletal conditions such as arthritis. We have a class 3A Erchonia PL5000 laser. This laser is a lightwave in the red visible light spectrum and therefore is very safe. It does not generate heat (hence the term “cold”) and will not burn the patient. Laser therapy can be used to compliment traditional treatments or as an alternative to medication for many conditions including: arthritis, neurologic conditions, orthopedic conditions, wounds/incisions/scars, allergies, and more! To learn more you can go to www.vomtech.com or www.erchonia.com or schedule a consultation with Dr. Starr.

Standard Process- We are now carrying nutritional supplements from Standard Process. We chose Standard Process because they make high quality, whole food nutritional supplements to support the body through healing, to support specific organ functions, or to add nutritive value to dog food. Having the right nutrients available is important to healing and many chronic health conditions can benefit from nutritional support. If your dog has chronic or intermittent diarrhea or vomiting, thyroid disease, adrenal disease, allergies, heart disease, kidney or liver disease, or autoimmune disease, he or she may be a good candidate for nutritional support. If you are interested in whole food vitamins or augmenting your pet’s treatment with nutritional support, schedule a nutritional consultation with Dr. Starr.

Pet Identification Microchip System - We have the ability to implant a tiny electronic device approximately the size of a grain of rice beneath your pet's skin. This easy procedure allows for the tracking and identification of your pet because each chip has its own unique number.

Pharmacy Supplies - We carry an extensive inventory of veterinary pharmacology supplies and medications.

Pet Supplies and Food - We recommend and carry the complete line of Science Diet Pet Foods, as well as Eukanuba, Purina, and Royal Canin veterinary diets. In addition, we also offer various pet supplies including: collars and leashes, shampoos and conditioners, and combs and brushes.

Healthy Start Kitten and Puppy Programs - We provide a package plan with a program that includes wellness exams and vaccinations, as well as fecal checks for parasites, deworming, and toenail trims.

Home

About Us

Clinic History

Hours of Operation

Clinic Tour

Services

Animal Health

Boarding

Grooming

Staff

Doctors

Hospital Staff

Grooming Staff

Photo Gallery

Articles

Cats

Dogs

FAQ

Links

 <img class= "hours" src="hours.gif" alt="Hours of Operation Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 5:30 pm, Saturday: 8:00am - noon.
