Dr. Whitehill grew up in the Metro Detroit area with a lifelong love for animals and an interest in science and medicine. She attended Michigan State University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science before going on to earn her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University in 2026.
Dr. Whitehill chose to pursue veterinary medicine because of her passion for caring for animals while also building meaningful relationships with the people who love them. She especially enjoys helping pets and their families through all stages of life and is excited to begin her career serving the Northern Michigan community.
Her clinical interests include surgery, emergency medicine, and preventative care. She values creating a comfortable and compassionate experience for both patients and owners and looks forward to continuing to grow in all areas of small animal medicine.
Outside of work, Dr. Whitehill enjoys practicing yoga, trying new restaurants, watching movies, and relaxing at home with her two dogs, Trixie and Malcolm, and her cat, Fozzie.
She is excited to meet you and your pets and become part of the community
